Please Read the Following Instructions Before Adopting a Teacher
Ready to make a difference in a classroom? Our teachers are committed to ensuring our children are successful in all their educational endeavors. But they cannot do it alone! Our community can support them by providing the necessary school supplies. Please choose from the list below a teacher that you would like to adopt.
The Adopt-A-Teacher campaign aims to provide cleaning and crucial classroom/school supplies needed by Henry County Students for their academic success.
Steps to Adopt-A-Teacher:
- Click on the teacher’s link below to view their wishlist (down arrow).
- Most teachers have provided the supplies they need most in their classrooms. A few teachers have shared their Amazon or Walmart wishlist. Copy and paste the URL in another window to see their request.
- Once you choose the teacher (s) to adopt, click the “Adopt button”.
- Please complete the form with your information.
- Once you confirm to adopt, you will receive a confirmation email which will include all details including the suggested school supply list. To ensure your confirmation email, please provide a proper email. Once the teacher is adopted, a lock will appear on their name and will no longer be available for adoption.
- We have added a section for “personal message”. Please let us know if you have any specific requests. If you would like to share, please include your organization name and address so we can send you a Thank You Note.
By Adopting A Teacher, you agree to:
- Purchase school supplies as requested on the teacher’s wish-list.
- Please set-up a delivery to the front office of the teacher’s school. During the school year 2020-2021, in-person deliveries to the teachers will not be available due to the safety concerns of the COVID-19 pandemic.
- All packages must be labeled with the teacher’s name.
- For the safety of all parties, please DO NOT contact the teacher to deliver at an alternate time or location. All deliveries must be directly mailed to the Henry County School.
- Our teachers are counting on the support of the sponsors. If you adopt, please deliver school supplies within two weeks of adoption. Teachers are removed from the available list after you submit the request. We do not want to disappoint our teachers!
You may choose as many teachers as you would like to adopt. We could not have made #HCAdoptATeacher a success without your continued support! Thank You!
